Mechanical locks and keys are still an intricate part of any facility’s security. At M3T Corporation we have trained locksmiths who can install, service, and replace locks from all manufacturers. Whether panic hardware, mortise locks, or cylindrical locks, M3T Corporation’s locksmiths can service your commercial or industrial needs. Our service area includes Carlisle, Camp Hill, Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, Reading, York, and surrounding areas in South Central PA as well as Northeastern PA and the Greater Philadelphia Area.
Cylindrical Locks
Cylindrical hardware is the most common hardware on the market today. With its ease of installation, cost effectiveness, and flexibility of function, cylindrical locks are a strong solution for most physical security. Cylindrical types of locks can be knobs, levers, and/or deadbolts. Almost every cylindrical lockset can be adapted to fit any keyway.
Mortise Locks
When it comes to durability, mortise hardware is second to none. Mortise locks are a large body lock that fit into a cutout in the door, and in most cases houses the entire locking system. Mortise locks come in almost every locking function including entry, storeroom and classroom. They can also be with or without a deadbolt. Mortise lock cylinders are a separate part of the locking device which makes it easy to adapt to any keyway.
Panic Hardware
Panic bars are single action egress locks designed for easy exit during an emergency. Single point panic bars have one latching device that is commonly used on a single door. Vertical rod panic bars are two point panic bars that can be used for a single door or a double set of doors. Panic bars can be installed on mortise or cylindrical prepped doors.
Electrified Hardware
Electrified hardware can replace existing mechanical hardware with little conversion. Many different parts of the lock can be electrified to work with an access control system. The cylindrical/mortise lock body can be powered to unlock with a card swipe. Panic bar trims can be powered to unlock, or the panic bar itself can be powered for latch retraction to allow entry. Electrified hardware allows access control to be added to any door without compromising looks.
Key Control
One of the basic forms of security and access control is master keying. M3T Corporation can design a master key system that is customized to the client needs for restricted access.
Key control is an ongoing challenge for businesses with an ever changing employee structure. Medeco, one of the premier names in key control solutions, can save your business unnecessary rekeying costs. M3T Corporation has partnered with Medeco to provide our clients with a key control solution that employs a restricted keyway only available through M3T Corporation. No longer do you need to worry about a large gap in your company’s security with employee unauthorized duplicate key making.
