  1. What first sparked your interest in the security industry and what led you to join M3T? “What first drew me to the security industry was how many different paths and skill sets it touches. There’s always something new to learn. With my background in data analytics and programming, I was excited by the opportunity to apply those skills in a real-world, impactful way. When I learned more about M3T and the hands-on technical work, it felt like the right place to grow and challenge myself.”

  2. What learning or growth opportunity at M3T has had the biggest impact on your development? “When I started at M3T, I had the technical foundation for my role but very little exposure to security platforms. Learning those systems from the ground up, and being trusted to support them, had the biggest impact on my growth. It pushed me to become more confident, adaptable, and comfortable learning complex systems quickly.”

  3. How do you stay current with evolving technologies and trends in
    security?
“I stay current by keeping up with software and firmware releases and by leaning on our partners to share new technologies and best practices. M3T has also given me opportunities to attend conferences, which has been invaluable, not only for learning about new products, but also for networking and seeing how others are solving similar challenges.”

  4. What trend or emerging technology in security excites you the most right now? “The analytics side of video security has been the most exciting for me. Being able to program cameras to collect meaningful data, not just for security, but also for operational insights and day-to-day decision making. It really shows how powerful this technology can be beyond traditional use cases.”

  5. What motivates you to continue growing in this field even on difficult days? “What motivates me is knowing that there’s always more to learn and improve. Even on difficult days, I remind myself that I’m building skills that matter and solving real problems for clients. Seeing systems work better because of something I helped configure or troubleshoot makes the challenges worth it.”
  1. Which M3T value or aspect of the culture resonates with you most and why? “The value that resonates most with me is Listen to Know. Early on, I relied heavily on listening to teammates, partners, and mentors to understand the platforms and how to support clients. Now, that same mindset helps me listen to clients and understand their needs more clearly. Collaboration has always been important to me, and that value really reflects how I’ve grown at M3T.”

  2. What is one interesting or fun fact about yourself? “A fun fact about me is that I really enjoy problem-solving, especially when it involves connecting systems or figuring out why something isn’t working. That’s actually one of the reasons I enjoy this role so much.”

  3. What advice would you offer to someone entering the security industry or considering joining M3T? “My advice would be to stay curious and be willing to learn. You don’t need to know everything on day one. This industry changes constantly. Ask questions, listen to the people around you, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself!”
